Keith, a witness and ice cream truck driver stationed across from where Gonzalez was shot, described the harrowing scene. As chaos erupted and people sought cover, Keith observed Gonzalez collapsing on the stairs. Concerned for his children's safety, he instructed them to take cover inside the truck until the shooting subsided. Keith rushed to Gonzalez, checked her vital signs, attempted CPR, but tragically found her life had already been taken.
